The Total Cost of Ownership
TCO = Total Cost of Ownership is the total cost of operating a vehicle, not just the monthly payments. PEUGEOT has set itself the target of ensuring an equivalent TCO between combustion engine vehicles and electric cars.
The calculation of the TCO takes into account various factors including tax incentives, with company car tax liability reductions, fuel cost savings and maintenance and usage costs, all of which are lower for electric vehicles. Electric vehicles are not as expensive as a combustion engine vehicle over the long term.
