In addition to the existing S and PROFESSIONAL versions, business bespoke GRIP and ASPHALT version are making an appearance within the BOXER range, as well as a number of new features.

The ASPHALT version is designed for professionals who spend a lot of time in their vehicles and who are primarily looking for comfort and safety. This version offers as standard:

FULLY ELECTRIC PEUGEOT BOXER

A 100% electric version will complete the range and be available with 2 operating ranges depending on the version: up to 225 km* (NEDC) for the L1 and L2 lengths, and up to 270 km* (NEDC) for the L3 and L4 lengths.

The Distance Alert function (collision risk warning) warns the driver that his or her PEUGEOT Boxer risks colliding with the vehicle in ahead or a pedestrian present in his or her traffic lane.

The Distance Alert System* (collision risk warning) warns the driver that their PEUGEOT Boxer risks colliding with the vehicle ahead or a pedestrian present in their traffic lane.

This visual and audible warning is made just before the Active Safety Brake is triggered.

The Active Safety Brake is an automatic emergency braking system if an imminent collision is detected. If the driver then fails to brake or if the braking is insufficient, the system applies the brakes on behalf of the driver.

ACTIVE SAFETY BRAKE

Active Safety Brake* is an automatic emergency braking system which activates if an imminent collision is detected. The camera and the radar will detect stationary or moving obstacles. If the driver then fails to brake or if the braking is insufficient, the system applies the brakes on behalf of the driver. It contributes to avoiding an impact, if you are driving at less than 30 km/h, or to limiting the scale of any collision by reducing the impact speed.

Peugeot Boxer - lane departure warning system

LANE DEPARTURE WARNING SYSTEM

The Lane Departure Warning System* detects the unintentional crossing of a traffic lane  marking using a camera that recognises continuous or broken lines. To ensure safe driving, the camera analyses the image and, in the event of a decrease in the driver’s vigilance and a speed greater than 60 km/h, triggers a visual and audible warning if the driver veers off course.

The 5" colour capacitive touchscreen integrated satellite navigation system*,

  • with Android Auto and Apple CarPlayTM compatibility**, your Boxer's touch-screen displays your apps the way your phone does
  • allows two phones to be connected at the same time
  • allowing the vehicle’s dimensions to be entered, in order to avoid roads with size restrictions. Perfect for large vans or motorhomes!


Fleet managers can rely on new telematics subscription packages offered by Free2Move Connect Fleet which run seamlessly via the new PEUGEOT CONNECT BOX*, which enables:

  • fuel consumption to be monitored
  • vehicles to be tracked in the event of theft or for the geographic area to be adhered to
  • monitoring of service & maintenance needs
  • eco-driving advice to be obtained

Telematic Fleet Management Solutions

The PEUGEOT Connect SOS & Assistance system, which is fitted as standard to every Euro 6.2 compliant version of Boxer, means that the vehicles are ‘connected-ready’ for customers wishing to benefit from any of our connected services. Three different telematics packages from Free2Move Connect Fleet, providing efficiency and optimisation of fleet management, are currently available:

  • Pack 1: Fleet Management - provides tracking of mileage covered depending on usage times, the precise consumption evaluation and the associated cost, as well as real time monitoring of service maintenance cycles: £10 + VAT per month
  • Pack 2: Eco-driving (in addition to Pack 1) -  adds driving analysis with personalised advice for the driver: £11 + VAT per month                    
  • Pack 3: Geolocation (in addition to Pack 2) - offers geographical tracking in real time of the vehicle, journeys made and stopping times. Programming of a route to be followed is possible and an alert is sent in case this is not adhered to: £12 + VAT per month
